About the event
Intercultural Fluency, just like learning a new language, is a practiced ability over time beginning from first being exposed to diversity and leading up to having it internalized in your life. And just as with languages, mistakes and miscommunications happen. In this three part series, we will learn the conceptual framework of intercultural fluency through awareness, intercultural communication, cultural literacy, and intercultural capital. This course will use a mix of both activities and academic frameworks to foster your ability to pivot in different cultural contexts, decrease social anxieties when different groups interact, and develop a tool kit to use with confidence.
